“Beaver Management” in Moscow

A pilot project on “beaver management” for the peaceful coexistence of humans and these animals is feasible in Moscow on an island named after them. This was reported to TASS by Ivan Bashinsky, Senior Researcher at the A. N. Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Head of the Beaver Working Group of the Theriological Society named after Academician V. E. Sokolov at the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Resumption of direct flights between Russia and Azerbaijan will increase transport accessibility

Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jayhun Bayramov said that in the near future it is planned to resume some direct flights between Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation, which were discontinued after the plane crash of AZAL passenger airline in December 2024. In Altai, some travel companies have already raised prices by 20%. This was reported by Profi.Travel CEO of the company "Planet" (Kimry) Victoria Yankevich. The head of the commission on bus transport of the Russian Union of Travel Industry Marina Labutina noted that in the Central Federal District there is not yet a "catastrophe", but prices for transport will rise.

"Tutu": a quarter of travelers would like to try the slow travel format

Up to 25% of Russians surveyed would like to try the slow travel format - traveling without rush, with a longer stay in one place. This is stated in the study of the travel service "Tutu" .

"Up to a quarter of respondents would like to try such travel, although only 5% of respondents have experience with such trips. The gap between those who want to try and those who have tried is explained simply: 34% of those who have not yet tried cite limited vacation time as a major barrier. Another 23% fear that such a vacation will be boring, 18% prefer a rich program," said the experts.

More than half a million visitors attended VDNH during the "Let’s Travel!" forum
