Analysts have revealed how much Russians spend on foreign travel

The average cost of Russians per trip abroad is about $1,700. At the same time, in July, spending during travel turned out to be 21% higher than in June, according to data from the fintech service "Pay Worldwide".

The three main items of expenditure are housing, food and impressions. In the latter category, people are more willing to pay for things that will be remembered, such as excursions, concerts, festivals, and sports matches. A ticket to a major festival costs about $600, and an excursion costs $30-80, the service said.

At the same time, analysts expect that the travel season will continue to accelerate, as August is ahead with festivals and the start of the season in the European football championships.The study is based on anonymized data from "Pay Worldwide" user payments for June - July 2026.
