Indexing and Archiving
The "Service and tourism: current challenges" Journal is widely indexed in various scientometric databases and repositories of scientific information, both domestic and international. This ensures consistent growth in the journal’s citation rate (impact factor) and author citation indices (Hirsch index). The Editorial Board intends to continue promoting the journal across diverse international platforms.
ASSIGNMENT OF DOI NUMBERS
Each article published in the journal is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), or "digital object identifier"—an internationally recognized standard for identifying digital resources online (ISO 26324:2012) and utilized by publishing electronic platforms and databases worldwide. While Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) have traditionally been used for this purpose, URLs are often lengthy, cumbersome, and subject to change, potentially leading to loss of access to essential materials. A DOI, in contrast, remains permanent and provides a reliable means of locating the journal, article, or book. The global scientific community considers publication without a DOI to be unstable online and susceptible to disappearance, which negatively impacts citation indexing. Assigning DOIs is fundamental for accurate reference tracking and citation, enabling sustainable access to scientific data, verification, and utilization of research findings. The DOI serves as an integral component of the scientific communication system by effectively facilitating the exchange of scientific information.
DOI searches can be performed on the International DOI Foundation (IDF) website and CrossRef. Alternatively, users can enter doi.org/N into a browser’s search bar, where N represents the DOI number of the publication. For example, for the DOI 10.12737/11393, the search query would be doi.org/10.12737/11393.

Publication Fees
In order to stimulate the development of the journals published by the RSUTS Scientific Publishing Department and to ensure their wider integration into the international scientific community, services for editorial preparation and publication of articles are provided on a fee‑based basis.
The cost depends on a number of factors: the author’s affiliation, the author’s contribution to the editorial process, the level of the journal (HAC‑listed or not), and others. These terms apply to all authors submitting manuscripts for publication in issues of the RSUTS scientific journals.
Payment for editorial and publishing services is made by authors after their manuscript has undergone external independent peer review and received a recommendation for publication from the Editorial Board, in accordance with the rates in effect at the time the article is approved for printing. Along with the notification that the article has been recommended for publication, authors will receive an email containing payment details and the total amount, calculated according to the applicable rate.
